Be afraid! This is the first time for me, being able to legal download and purchase mp3's on my own! I'm so excited!!! It is incredibly easy! Lol, I'm waiting for the catch! The only one I've found is there is tax on top of the download price.

Anyway, let me know if anyone has tried Amazon's mp3 service. So far, I'm loving it!

It works pretty good for me. The cool thing is you can chec the download percentage from the system tray and a bubble pops up tellling you what song it downloaded.

Finally, a music service that doesn't contain drm crap in it! If I ever start buying mp3's, that's what I'll do. I really can't see the point in buying entire albums anymore, since most of the time, there is only 1 or 2 good songs on an album.

I sure hope they plan to expand it, since there are only 2 genres offered. To anyone who has purchased a track, what bit rate are the mp3's recorded at?

Hmmm, only 2 genres? I didn't notice that, guess the 2 songs I was after fell into the catigory.

Yep, purchased 2 songs and received 1 for free. The 2 songs I bought were 256 kbps, and the free song was 320.

Hey, now that I think about it, when I was looking up classical music, there were some mp3's to buy. Maybe they are already expanding?
